01/03/2019: Today's Updates... 8.00pm...

The snow has turned sleety recently, but we do have a max depth of fresh snow in the village of 5.5cm. Some surfaces have very little coverage, due to the very wet nature of the snow - but we should have some useful accumulations higher up. Next update early tomorrow - probably very early - as we are off racing in St Jean in the morning...

Snow has been falling again since the last update... will report on any further accumulations in an hour or two...

3cm of very wet snow has fallen so far at our measuring location in the village. Flurries of wet snow falling from time to time at the moment.

Snow has been falling over the last hour at the bottom of Linga and in the village. There is already a few cm's at slightly higher elevations on the ski area and a covering for the village. Will update in a couple of hours...

Mix of rain, sleet and snow at the bottom of Linga.

The weather is cloudy, with showery blobs of graupel falling from time to time, with a temperature close to 4c in the village area. There has been a noticeable breeze this morning at some lower elevations of the ski area.

Bonjour - it is currently mostly cloudy but dry here in Chatel with a temperature close of 2.5c. Dydd Gŵyl Dewi Hapus - Happy St. David's Day to our Welsh readers.

Updates will appear on this page today and the forecast page is expected to be updated
