03/02/2021: Today's Updates...
Bonjour from Chatel.
For those who bought "Flash Sale" PDS season passes, there should be some news on a compensation scheme in the near future.
Temperatures are above 0c in Chatel early this morning and showery outbreaks of rain are expected today. The snow/rain boundary will probably start up towards, or slightly above 2000m, though this may ease down during the evening with perhaps some sleety blobs for the village for a time, with the hi-res Arome model suggesting the chance of a light covering above about 1500m or 1600m.
Tomorrow is looking drier, but the 0c isotherm will be on the rise again, heading up above 2500m, so it should feel spring-like in any sunshine and the rather mild conditions look like lasting into the weekend. Thereafter, something colder returns Sunday / Monday, which appears to be a period of interest for a snowfall...
Below is the Arome forecast for snow accumulation for today / tonight, from www.meteociel.fr
