04/01/2020: Today's Updates... Day 24...

After a fine day, and the prospect of a few more over the coming days, this evening's model updates have a small point of interest later in the week, with a little bit more being made of a possible incursion of precipitation on Friday. At the moment, it is of moderate interest only, as it is a potentially brief period of precipitation which looks as though it could be a similar event to what happened last night - so nothing to get excited about for the time being... but it will be one to keep an eye on. Apart from that, GFS keeps it mostly mild and mostly dry for 10 days, so the hunt for a return of the significant snowfalls continues...

A trip up to just below 1800m earlier this morning found 2cm of fresh snow and some lovely views...

An indication of the level of where the overnight dusting fell...

Bonjour from Chatel, as reported earlier on the snow forecast page at http://www.chatelweb.com/chatel_snow_forecast.php - there has been a dusting of snow above about 1400m overnight. Further updates will appear on this page today...
