05/02/2021: Today's Updates...
Bonjour from Chatel.
It is a fairly bright start in Chatel, though there is some cloud knocking about and there has been a re-freeze of the snowpack in the village. Temperatures are expected to become rather mild again today in the village and on the mountain, but potentially not as mild as tomorrow, which could see some spring-like temperatures and a 0c isotherm at 3000m.
There is the chance of snowfall arriving on Sunday, but a closer look at this will be taken tomorrow, once it comes into range of the high res models.
There is a high level of uncertainty regarding the longevity of any colder spell from Sunday, with some charts suggesting another blast of really mild air towards the end of next week.
