Bonjour from Chatel.
It is another fairly cloudy start to the day here in Chatel and there remains the chance of a dusting of snow higher up today, as shown by the Arome forecast from www.meteociel.fr below. Thereafter, there is not much snow in the outlook in the short term, though there are some possibilities later next week... however, the situation then is finely poised and wetter options remain on the table.
Those who bought PDS season passes in the "flash sale" from the Chatel ski pass website last spring, should now be receiving emails giving options to either roll them over to next season, receiving a credit note or getting a refund. This applies to unused passes.

The lifts on the ski area are closed until further notice.
Bars, restaurants and cafes are expected to remain closed until further notice (takeaway services allowed).
Although confinement has ended in France - an overnight curfew is in place from 6pm to 6am.
Private gatherings indoors should be kept to a maximum of 6 adults according to advice from the French government.
Travel between regions in France is allowed.
