06/02/2019: Today's Updates... 6.35pm...

6.35pm:

The weather did not disappoint today, nor did the snow conditions, which remain (on the whole), really rather good. This week's sunshine is not set to last though, as changeable conditions return from tomorrow and it looks like we will see a bit more snow on the ski area, though quantities look fairly modest, with the period from Sunday afternoon / evening through into Monday looking much more interesting in terms of potential amounts - which could be significant... if we get lucky.

In the meantime, here is the Arome model's view on amounts from the next snowfall, from www.meteociel.fr

1.00pm:

Beautiful weather continues today - photo from the trails this morning...

9.35am:

Clear skies this morning bringing another wonderful day of weather and it should again feel quite toasty in the sunshine this afternoon.

Latest views from a few minutes ago...

Pas de Morgins

Racing on Linga this morning.

Clear skies above the Pas de Morgins.

7.05am:

Bonjour - temperature inversions have brought some cold temperatures to the valley this morning with -9c just below the village, which will probably be lower than across much of the ski area. Skies are clear again...

Updates will appear on this page today and the forecast page is expected to be updated

towards 7.45am this morning.
