There is some valley fog around this morning with a touch of frost.
The outlook for snowfall remains a little underwhelming at the moment in the short term. There may be a light snowfall higher up during tomorrow and tomorrow night, but this morning's models suggest it will be later next week, or next weekend when we might see something more substantial - and there is plenty of uncertainty regarding that outcome, even though some of the ECMWF charts in the 7 to 10 day range suggest a return of winter...

Those who bought PDS season passes in the "flash sale" from the Chatel ski pass website last spring, should now be receiving emails giving options to either roll them over to next season, receiving a credit note or getting a refund. This applies to unused passes.

The lifts on the ski area are closed until further notice.
Bars, restaurants and cafes are expected to remain closed until further notice (takeaway services allowed).
Although confinement has ended in France - an overnight curfew is in place from 6pm to 6am.
Private gatherings indoors should be kept to a maximum of 6 adults according to advice from the French government.
Travel between regions in France is allowed.
