07/03/2021: Today's Updates...
Downgrade in snowfall amounts from latest Arome...
Bonjour from Chatel.
After the blue skies of yesterday, this morning has started overcast and there has been a dusting of snow overnight, with some surfaces in the village seeing a patchy, slushy covering. The Arome model is suggesting a few cm's tonight / tomorrow - as shown on the graphics below from wwww.meteociel.fr - but before those, here is a photo of the blue skies of Saturday...
Note that other models are suggesting less snowfall than this - so it will be interesting to see the outcome tomorrow morning...
Those who bought PDS season passes in the "flash sale" from the Chatel ski pass website last spring, should now be receiving emails giving options to either roll them over to next season, receiving a credit note or getting a refund. This applies to unused passes.
Most updates and photos this season are posted on the WhatsApp members group
