09/02/2021: Today's Updates...

Update 7.45am:

Bonjour from Chatel.

There is some light snow falling this morning in Chatel, with what appears to be less than a cm of fresh snow so far.

There is a bit of snow in the forecast today, however, something rather more persistent is set to arrive tonight and last into tomorrow.

The forecast for the 0c isotherm is as follows:

10am: 1300m

3pm: 1612m:

2am tomorrow: 1500m

6am tomorrow: 1424m

10am tomorrow: 1245m

3pm tomorrow: 1255m

7pm tomorrow: 1101m

So, although it is looking marginal for the village elevation for a time overnight, it is looking promising for some snowfall for the village during tomorrow,
