Update 3.30pm:

There has been 1.5cm to 2cm in the village area, however, the snow rain limit has risen now with the snow petering out as the expected, slightly milder interlude has arrived. The main event in terms of snowfall is still set to arrive overnight with snow expected tomorrow.

Update 12.15pm:

The first snow flakes have arrived in the last half hour or so, as the weather closes in...

Update 8.15am:

Snow is expected to arrive towards lunchtime today, with showery outbreaks for the afternoon and evening, with drier spells too, before some heavier precipitation potentially arrives overnight, with further snowfalls tomorrow. Snow/rain limits look like rising to somewhere close to the village elevation today (perhaps above the village for a time) and are expected to be sat at about 1000m tomorrow (+/- 200m).
