13/02/2020: Today's Updates... Day 64...

There remains the chance of a covering of snow overnight for the village - though it is really very marginal - so it could go either way - with a few cm's or just a dusting both possible.

Currently a mix of rain and sleet falling.

4.40pm: The snow/rain boundary rose a bit quicker than suggested below - probably an hour or so ahead of the expected schedule. We have had outbreaks of rain in the village, after the initial sleet, and there are still some strong gusts of wind blowing through the area from time to time.

The precipitation has arrived, with rain and sleet falling in the village which was preceded by some foehn-esque gusts of wind, which have caused some lift disruption on the ski area.

The snow/rain boundary is currently somewhere between 1200m and 1300m in the main part of the village (it may be a touch lower in the valley towards Linga / PLJ). This boundary is still expected to ease up this afternoon, before falling tonight, with the latest info suggesting the following...

Forecast Snow / Rain Boundary:

2pm: Between 1200m and 1300m 3pm: 1400m

4pm: 1300m 5pm: 1650m 6pm: 1600m

8pm: 1530m

10pm: 1250m

Midnight: 1250m

2am: 1200m

4am: 1130m

We'll soon see if this is accurate or not and there is normally a margin of error of +/- 150m.

This was the view from Mouet late this morning as the weather was closing in...
