15/03/2021: Today's Updates...
Update 2.30pm: There has been another 8cm of snow since the last update. That is 38cm since late yesterday afternoon and 50.5cm since Saturday evening. It is fairly wet snow, so the snowpack is consolidating down and so the fresh snow pack is currently about 40cm in depth.
Currently snowing lightly.
Update 11.20am: Another 11cm since last update. That’s 30cm since late yesterday afternoon. There is 35cm of level snow on the grass outside ( weight of fresh snow squishes lower layer).
... and it is still snowing...
Fresh snowfall overnight here in the village was measured at 19cm up to 7am.
There's just shy of 30cm on some surfaces, after the snow returned on Saturday night.
Total snowfall in the village this season is now up to 335.5cm.
It is currently still snowing so this is turning into a rather significant snow event even at village elevation.
Next update this afternoon.
