18/01/2021: Today's Updates...
Drier and brighter weather is expected for the first half of this week, with daytime temperatures trending upwards, but with nights remaining cold. Wednesday and Thursday could see the 0c isotherm go above 2000m for a time, however, Thursday night may see a change, with a rain to snow event. Copious amounts of snowfall are possible between Friday and Sunday - details such as snow/rain limits to be confirmed - but the situation is one which could easily turn into something very snowy... one to keep an eye on!
The avalanche risk in the area today remains very, very high at level 4/5.
