Bonjour from Chatel where air temperatures in the village are at 3c early this morning, with overnight temperatures in the valley bottom only just going below 0c - so it is a relatively mild start to the day.

Although confinement has ended in France - an overnight curfew is in place from 8pm to 6am (except the evening of 24th December).

Private gatherings indoors should be kept to a maximum of 6 adults according to advice from the French government.
