19/01/2020: Today's Updates... Day 39...

5.35pm:

It has been the coldest day of the season here in Chatel, with a wind adding to the general feel of chilliness! Snow conditions remain in excellent shape, with cold dry snow across the area. The cold temperatures have also combined with some fairly low humidity, which means the snow cannon have been operating all day in many areas. This is great news, as it will help to consolidate the pistes before the busy February holiday period and will also help the very lowest pistes, which have seen very little snow this season.

The weather is set to be dry and mostly fine this week, with temperatures becoming milder again by day, so for those who have just started a holiday week, there should be a very good few days coming up.

As for the next snow, well, in terms of significant snowfall, we may have to wait until the end of the month...
