23/11/2020: Fine, Temperature Inversion Weather...

Update: 8.00am:

The skies are clear in Chatel this morning, with a temperature inversion bringing a frost to the village and valley area, with some mild sunshine expected during today, with a similar theme expected through the rest of the week.

Snow remains on the north facing slopes and in some shaded valley areas and even though the 0c isotherm is expected to remain really quite high up for the last week in November, the clear skies should mean that the light covering of snow in these shaded areas should endure.

The latest models have shown some changes in pattern over the last 24 hours, however, the situation regarding the potential for significant natural snowfall remains the same - with nothing expected before the start of December.
