25/01/2021: Today's Updates...

Update 5.15pm:

The total today is 6cm, which is an addition to last night's 16cm. So a total of 22cm at 1150m since yesterday evening. Total for the season in the village now stands at 282.5cm.

Update 12.45pm:

There have been further periods of snow since early this morning. The snow accumulation info will be updated later in the day. Photo below from this morning (other have been posted on the WhatsApp members group).

There is a very interesting period coming up from midweek, in terms of the potential for alot of rain and snow. The overnight models have trended to a slightly less mild outcome for the end of the week - in comparison to what they have been showing, however, it could still go either way. More on this over the next couple of days.

Update 7.00am:

There is 16cm of fresh snow this morning - more than the models were expecting. The fresh cover is powdery and uneven, as the snow has been blowing around too.

Currently dry.

The total for the season so far in the village is now up to 276.5cm!

Update 6.30am:

Bonjour from Chatel.

Snow has been falling again overnight - fresh accumulation depth measurement to follow.

Current temperature between -3c and -4c.

Most photos during the day are currently being posted on the WhatsApp group.
