27/12/2020: Today's Updates...
Bonjour from Chatel. Air temperatures in the valley have dipped below -10c overnight, however, some relatively milder air is set to arrive today along with the chance of a brief spell of foehn winds.
This afternoon, the 0c isotherm may be between 1800m and 2000m for a time, before falling tonight. Note that the hi-res model output keeps the 0c isotherm near or slightly above the village overnight.

The provisional opening date of the ski area is the 7th January 2021.
Bars, restaurants and cafes are expected to remain closed until at least the 20th January (takeaway services allowed before then).
Although confinement has ended in France - an overnight curfew is in place from 8pm to 6am (except the evening of 24th December).
Private gatherings indoors should be kept to a maximum of 6 adults according to advice from the French government.
Travel between regions in France is allowed.
