Update 1.00pm:

Snow has been falling heavily in the last 45 mins... update to follow...

Update 10.50am:

The snowfall accumulation total has gone up by another 1cm since the last measurement, so that's 11cm for this one so far in the village and 30cm since late on Sunday evening. Further showery outbreaks of snow are likely over the next 24 hours. So far, the snowfalls have been exceeding the forecast amounts, so hopefully, this will continue...

Update 7.50am:

There has been another 10cm of fresh snow overnight here in the village, adding nicely to the falls of Sunday night and yesterday. The temperature is currently between 0c and -1c and a mix of light snow, pellets and graupel is falling. Further snowfall is expected. Next update later this morning.
