08/11/2018: A Light Snowfall Higher Up

Thursday 8th of November dawned dry after a showery night and there was a bit of snow higher up on the ski area. To hear the rain falling on the roof during yesterday evening and last night was a very welcome sound, as the area has been incredibly dry since last winter, and many streams in the area have been reduced to a trickle.

The overnight snow settled above about 1800m, adding to the remnants of last week's snowfall, which has largely disappeared from all but the north facing, higher slopes.
