The models are suggesting some snowfall returning from Tuesday. At the moment, there are some differences between the GFS and ECMWF scenarios, so there are also some noticeable differences between the automated websites and apps in terms of the potential for some milder air to arrive. We'll take a closer look at this tomorrow, however, significant snowfall is a possibility.
Bonjour from Chatel. Temperatures have dipped below -13c in the valley this morning and it's -8.5c in the village at the moment.

The lifts on the ski area are closed until further notice. Next update from the French government is expected around the 20th January.
Bars, restaurants and cafes are expected to remain closed until further notice (takeaway services allowed).
Although confinement has ended in France - an overnight curfew is in place from 8pm to 6am - note that this may change to a 6pm to 6am curfew.
Private gatherings indoors should be kept to a maximum of 6 adults according to advice from the French government.
Travel between regions in France is allowed.
