20/02/2021: Today's Updates...
Bonjour from Chatel.
After the spring-like day of Friday, today has started chillier, with a temperature inversion for the valley (temps down towards -3c) and a re-freeze of the snowpack. However, despite the chillier start, the 0c isotherm is set to soar above 3000m today and it is expected to feel really warm in the sunshine in the village. The thaw will continue in the village and on the sunnier aspect slopes.
There is no prospect of fresh snowfall in the next 7 days, with the daytimes seeing some very mild temperatures and glorious sunshine...
